Tennyson (3) started off this morning, as he usually does: demanding “milk-in-bottle, songs-a-phone,” which means soymilk in his sippy cup and watching the YouTube Kids app on one of our handed down iphones.
“Electronics are for after lunch, Tenny.”
“No! I want milk-in-bottle-songs-a-phone!!”
“Well, I want to go on a date with Papa, but we can’t always have what we want.”
“I want to go on a date.”
“You want to go on a date?”
“Yeah. You stay here, I want to go on a date.”
“Huh.”
“I want to go on a date with Tui [Truly, (1)], you stay here.”
Funny, funny man.
